On November 26th, 2016, five months before the planned big barn celebration, we were married at a courthouse in Sao Paulo with two good friends as witnesses. The real wedding, although it would contain no official paperwork, would be in April. We even scored great dinner options from a well-known local catering company called Buckhorn.
