The Importance of Having Respect From Your Employees
I like you have to advance the field in some way during your PhD. So that's yeah, the cutting edge is a lot harder to be in than the structure you're doing outside of the cutting edge. And just a counterpoint is that I have seen some biotech CEOs that have PhDs. But then when the company is not doing so well, the board gets scared and puts someone with an MBA in there. That's definitely a thing like the Ginkgo CEO and V2 CEO used to be seen a few cases where there used to be a PhD as a CEO.
