In one of the books that i have, nanking 19 37, memory and healing, they have a chinese historian who's giving what is, i guess it's the recognized chinese view of this thing. And he wants you to know how nasty it got. A person who says there were only forty five people who died in this whole wouldcall the chinese a liar or their government a bunch of people just wanting to hold this over japan's head.
