In chess, there's no luck element in that sense. In a fast game than they canyou now do unsound moves and still require the other side to know the precise response. Those are clled gambits or kind of sharp openings. A classical game would be like ours and ours over aboard riot. So you have to do very good moves on every move, becauseyou're not ong to get away with any tricks. Same is not true in a fast game. It's interestng, caus te inten has made quite a different game than over the board.
