The whole work of being alive as a human here is learning how to love by becoming more selfless. And spirituality develops this capacity to love by making you more godlike. God is infinite selflessness. God is love. Love is very simple, but it's very, very difficult to actually implement and embody. If selflessness makes love, if selflessness is love, selfishness breaking love makes sense,. It only makes sense.
