The Feynman Dirac and Schwinger Theory of Photon Electron Interactions
In effect field theories, there's a superior theory that becomes simpler when you reduce the energy in it. Think about as a just a classic example, quantum electrodynamics, the Feynman Dirac and Schwinger theory of photon electron interactions. We now think of that not as a fundamental theory by any means. In fact, it's a low-energy version of electroweak theory.
