Design Is a Learning Process

Alan is an engineer by training as well. He doesn't take that as an insult because we'll be talking about engineering and how that interacts with other disciplines. We usually think of design as a kind of planning and drawing things, representing them or the representations themselves. So what I'm interested in is getting into the heart of what's happening in a design team - looking at it slightly differently.
