Evangelical pastors came to Uganda talking about quote unquote the gay agenda and how it was coming for traditional values and Christian values. The then chair of that prayer breakfast meeting first draft a law that included the death penalty for LGBTQ people. In return they got access to Ugandan elites,. They supported Ugandan elites to build the Ugandan parliamentarians to start the sub-ship channel through which the minister took power.
