What Does It Look Like to Love a Wicked Man?

The calling is always to love. But as we saw when we looked at the s that jesus interacted with different people, loving a wicked person looks different than loving a normal, everyday sinner. Love always disrupts the status quo. When you love your father, well, his heart will either harden towards you, or his heart will soften towards you. That's what love does in the world. It has efficacy. It effects change the relationship. Many of you have been working your butt off trying to be kind to your parents. You have been holding your tongue for years so that you don't make things worse. And i can say that because love always results in change.
