In Pakistan, probably one of the best conservation success stories is the Markhole. This beautiful goat-like species got huge spiral horns. Today, there are over 3,500 Markhole on the landscape. 8 to 9 tags are sold for old mature animals that are sold between 120 and $240,000 each. That's pretty wild. 75% of the money goes back to the community. All of a sudden, these communities in these high, freaking mountain passes have electricity. They have solar. They have water. And they have the meat still. Right.
