Investing in the United States

People's investment decisions and view of the world is anchored to the country that they happen to be born into, without looking out the rest of the world. So i love military history, but i've never served in the arme force. No matter how many books about the battle of stalangra that i read, there's no way that i can come within a hundred miles of putting myself in a soldier's shoes. You just can't do it unless you actually live through it. The only really good way to think about risk is to expand your horizon across to what has happened to other people in other countries.
