Yoga Sutras - The Last Verse of the Chapter
In verse forty, shikrisna assures argina that nothing, no effort in life is ever wasted. The two reasons were karma and some scara. Karma means that this practithis yogi had invested so much effort and spiritual practice. Spiritual practice is karma, not carma, yoga, but meditation is a manisa. And every karma must bear its results. Drishtapalla are the results of a karma that take place now; adristapala are results that fructify at a later time.
