I was going along with the community and what I thought the community wanted of me" He says he used casual sex to fill a void in his life, but it doesn't satisfy at least since learning for him that there is no such thing as true intimacy. The author now feels more comfortable expressing herself emotionally through her body. She has developed an almost sacred relationship with her body which she's never had before.
