The Origins of Depression
By 2030, it's expected that depression will be the leading cause of time lost to illness in the workplace. Depression is often presented or understood as an adult specific disorder. But 75% of serious psychiatric illness in adulthood occurs before 18 years old. Gordon Harold says there are multiple risk factors which put individuals at significant risk for depression onset and development.
