The Philosophy of Care and Friendship

Friendship was on the curriculum, as it were, for the ancient philosophers. Not since the greeks has friendship been thought a problem worthy of a solution. Now perhaps through interest in ethics and virtue, matters to do with character and relationships come to the fore. The philosophy of care seems to play a big part in that.
