Don't Pay Tithing
When fear becomes the primary motivation to have people pay their tithing they're missing the point. I love giving 10% of my income to charity, I think it teaches me not to put my arm, my trust in the arm of the flesh or to give money and then do power in my own life by saying yes I absolutely give 10%. But I do that because I want to be more like Christ. Not because somebody is holding over my head, the weapon of the sacrament or a temple recommend or salvation salvation exactly right. The church needs to change its relationship with money.
