Before the invention of the car, if you wanted to work in a very productive city, you had to live like really kind of really, really close by. The real land value then is living somewhere where you can get a good job. And so when we invented the automobile, it allowed you to commute into work,. So now that opens a new frontier, and America has plenty of land.
