The Gender Pay Gap and Rising Rents
The data we've been using so far is from the ONS. If we want numbers on how much rent costs now for letting a new place, we have to go to property sites like Zoopler and Rightmove. The rent for properties advertised on their site has gone up by about 10% over the last year. And if we take that as being representative, most regions have now become unaffordable on an average woman's salary.
