Is Free Trade the Best Way to Promote Competitiveness?
There is no single statement that can be made about unions, any more than there is about any other organization. If you want to cut down monopoly power in this country, the way to do it is not to double the budget of the department of justice, anti trust division and have more 20 year suits against a against i b m. The most effective ting would be to enact free trade so that tition world wone would come to bear.
