The market reacted badly in anticipation of to day's bad news. It wasn't a sell the rumor, and by the fact, it sell the rumor and sell the fact. The only thing that she said that left this interpretation out there was that maybe, if the data warranted it, that the e c b left the door cracked open to maybe doing a 50 basis point radhike. But meanwhile, the e cb left intestrats at zero. This is extremely dovish. So imagine how much damage a hawkus. E c b would have been. There are no hawks left at any central banks,. whether it's the bank of japan or here at the fed.
