The Balance Between Raw Granularity and Usage of Roll-Ups in Aggregation

I think metrics are not going anywhere, they're appropriate for the first line of defense. But I definitely see a lot of them unused. There's another aspect in the metrics, which is the roll-ups. So you do the roll-up on that, and then obviously you lose the granularity of the data. And there's no reason why the observability tooling shouldn't allow you to group by using logs and tracing.
