Saint Mark G. Tang Zhang is one of the most famous martyrs in Catholic history. He spent 30 years not being able to receive the sacraments before he was martyred on July 9th, 2013. The church's martyrology for his feast day tells his brief life story and says that after 30 years of not being unable to receive the Sacraments, he finally became a participant in the heavenly banquet.
