The Courtship Tourist
Scientists started to notice something called the courtship tourist. They had their mouths closed and were swimming very, very slowly in a circle. We do think that it's possibly linked to mating - but we don't know much about basking shark mating. The collective noun for sharks is a shiver; they will gather in groups of hundreds.
