The Benefits of Operational Conditioning

B.F. Skinner was one of the big people in this field. Also there was a guy called Watson. So operant conditioning is basically if you instead of associating a stimulus with a with essentially another stimulus which results in a certain kind of behavior and then reward. Now one thing to say about this is it really works. You can train an animal lots of different kinds of animals really well using behaviorist techniques particularly operant conditioning. I was talking about this in the book Don't Shoot the Dog.
