In untyped JavaScript, you're like, where does this value even come from? And what guarantees do I have about it? Zero. So then another direction to take it is I'm going to do a million dynamic checks at the top of this function. This is what we had in like 2013, 2014 JavaScript. It's kind of like the TypeScript slogan about scaling. Right. They're talking about like scaling a team actually, not really in terms of the exactly whatever amount of data you're going to throw at it.
