The Threat of the Heart
The heart has this kind of boundless embracing quality to it, but is seen as a threat by the mind. Most people are afraid they will lose control if they truly open to this other dimension of being with another human being. So I don't think most of us suspect what a high price we're paying to keep ourselves bounded,. how our own hearts often become our enemy.
