The Eden Treaty and the Crisis in France
In the spring of 17 87, France is engulfed in a financial crisis. While this crisis is unfolding, two big international events will conspire to expose just how weak france has become. The first erupted a couple of thousand miles away when the russians and turks went to war. This led directly to the austrians and turks going to war. And will end to day with the crisis that devastated france's international reputation. It made the other powers wonder if france might not be the poland.
