The Wall Street Journal recently published a piece called What Will AI Do To Your Job? Take a look at what it's already doing to coders. It seems likely that we're going to see a very strict bifurcation between elite coders who have the ability to develop cutting edge code versus those who are just producing wrote code that can be easily replaced by AI. I'm still planning on getting my four year old and two year old into code learning as soon as possible.

Stability AI's CEO Emad Mostaque has predicted that there will be no human coders within 5 years.
