What's Going on in the Private Market?
We have seen a big decline of valuation across real estate investment trust reats in the public markets. Reets had one of their best years on record last year, as the recovery from the penademic played out. And now i think they're down 15 or 16 % on the year, which is round about what the broad market is down. But there's no doubt in my mind that a more stress sector will hopefully create more opportunities for us and for other players on the private market side.
