Dogberry Explains the Punishment
The play takes an ancient theme that of a woman falsely accused of unfaithfulness to brilliant comedic artists. So hero's father Leonardo comes back into see the man that framed his daughter. He sees Barakio and Conrad, Claudio and Don Pedro beg for his forgiveness. They ask him to decide Claudio's punishment as revenge. And he asks Claudio to write her epitaph and to sing it to her bones at her tomb.
