The North Carolina Supreme Court's Review of the North Carolina Constitution
North Carolina legislature passed a gerrymander and the state Supreme Court, which at that time was considered a pretty political one in the opposite hands. They stepped in and set the North Carolina Constitution in our reading, doesn't allow that gerrymanders. Now that made it ripe for Supreme Court review because there are a couple of different questions.
