The Class Divided Community

There was a lot of distinguishing by those in the middle and upper classes that among the poor there were those who were worthy and those who were not. In other cases, if families didn't adhere to certain american traditions, they might have a different spiritual system,. They may have come from a different part of the world and not speak english. Anything that made them seem somehow different would also sometimes categrize people as the other - making them more suspicious ad not quite as worthyof care. I'm thinking of some of the fissures that are already emerging in the present day in the context of the coronoviris....
