I Want You to Be as Shrewd as a Serpent

Shrewdness does not have to mean doing evil. It can just be the application of wisdom, of seeing a trap and being able to go around it. To give prudence to the naive literally means those who cannot handle complex matters. The only way you can be careful and be shrewd and at the same time innocent, not lose your righteousness is by cultivating the mind of christ.
