Ino was founded in 2009 and is now one of Nigeria's biggest private healthcare companies. The company has been working with the country's military since 2010. In 2013, it launched its first device to treat people who have suffered from a rare form of brain cancer called Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS). GBS can be treated for up to five years using an array of devices that are implanted into patients' brains as well as other methods such as IVF or stem cell transplants.
