Schwinkendorf, Raus, and Schwinendorf Were Charged With Violating the Endangered Species Act and One Count of Destruction
Stephen schwinkendorf and edgar rays were each sentenced to one year probation. But because it had a previous conviction, trent ser faced a third charge, felon in possession of a firearm. Trent read a letter to the judge in which he said, i made a stupid mistake. The judge sentenced him to 12 months plus one day in prison. All three men plead guilty. On social media, the nih county sheriff's department posted a press release on facebook. There are a lot of comments on the post, overwhelmingly pro popfish.
