The Reverse Network Effect
The end stage, is mitosis, when the community begins to split into smaller sub groups or in separate communities entirely. How how do you fight this? You have to be comfortable with the fact that sub groups can well exist and think you should be proactive about creating them. The other thing there we know once the community gets much more, more mature, is there can almost balygo a reverse network effect where the larger the community gets on the less valuable it is to each incremental member. It takes more time to find signal in the noise if there's a lot of convers so how do you protect against the reverse network of fact and rigt?"
