The Appeal of Generative Art
I think what I really like about generative art is that you are working towards a system that can generate a large diversity of pieces while making sure that each one is aesthetically pleasing, right? You could easily create just sort of a diversity of things for the sake of diversity, but then none of them look all that interesting either to you or to anybody else. And so I think trying to have a mix of these two where you want as much diversity as possible and make sure that each piece individually is interesting is quite interesting. So this push and pull of, yeah, between these two factors, I think is quite fascinating.
