The Evolution of White Clover

White clover produces hydrogen cyanide as a chemical defense to prevent insects from eating it. Mark and his team have studied a whole bunch of different species and looked at how they might be adapting to life in cities. Clovers growing inside the city of Toronto produced less hydrogen cyanide than cl overs growing outside of the city.
