Netflix's Failure to Create a Profit
Jason Johnson: It's unfair to put the blame on Netflix. He says legacy companies are taking years to figure out how to make a profit from direct-to-consumer platforms like Netflix. But when they do, it accelerates churn and stalling growth in high average revenue per user markets such as the U.S., he says. "You have we're losing money on the one thing that's really making us money," writes Johnson.
