The Problem With HR Policies for Neurodivergent People

Autistic people are underemployed, which means they can't even get a job interview. And when they get a job, it's not full-time usually, or they can't keep it. So we have a HR department on professionalism for employees based on one standard - the neurotypical brain. Where's the equity? There's no equity. You just want a chance. Equal to anyone else's. This isn't complicated. It's about just acknowledge. Like number one in a diagnostic criteria is significant social and communicating challenges. Interaction challenges, right?
