How Do You Frame a Story About Two Brothers in Conflict?
I wanted to take this as a classic narrative of sibling rivalry. It's about a brother who stays and a brother who goes. In my book, the brother who goes away is the more well-adjusted one. So it's also about, I suppose, this Jungian notion of individuation.
