The Importance of Setting the Story in Stone
I was lucky enough to interview Jed for our magazine pilot TV. He said that his writing process is still to do an episode at a time, and he doesn't really map the whole series out. Things will happen with the characters, or with the scene, that will completely change the balance. Even AD was saying the other day when you see Hastings and Kate at the end of Series 4, there's just like a look that wasn't really in the script. It was just like, Jed, when... Can you look at her, and can you looking at him? And we were like, huh, what? You know?
