"It's wild to be a memoir author on one hand, just sharing your entire insides for people to consume," she says. "You feel like this sort of ineffable piece of you that's like really hard to identify is like contacting someone else's spirit." The tour was similarly difficult and cut off abruptly by COVID. She talks about the process of having to publicly talk about her life but also have boundaries.
