I Love Another Scam and It Goes Way Beyond Weddings
A lot of the spending that we do in life revolves around needing to demonstrate that you are part of an in-group or that you care about someone. For me a lot of what basically all that put me into credit card debt was those types of appearances and like social things that I couldn't afford because it just feels really expensive. In weddings there is such a limited ability to express some version of "I love you" It's really rare that you will hear people have that, she says.
