Luke's TD slash pie fund story. He moved money from Westpac to ANZ, which is a minimum 10,000 dollars. But basically locked in my money for six months for a 4.7% return and I'll get paid the interest each month. And he'll lose 28% to tax as well. Mike: It's a really good shout that some people think term deposits are accessible. The reason they lock them in though is because they need that certainty. So breaking a term deposit to get access to the cash isn't always really easy.
