Parabola Reflectors and Paraboloids
The only shape that ely concentrates things as a parabola or a paraboloid when its onts ar rotated around. When you have a bunch of parallel rays, it doesn't matter whether the ray is reflected from the middle of of the object or from the si of the object, it will always be concentrated at the same focal point. So this idea of a parabolic reflector, that's what's used in radio diches and solar collectors.
