i would go back in time and have made con ons with people to work with them, perhaps outside of work, to help learn new techniques. I've never worked at a company that tries to push their people to learn where it is not a colossal of money on the company's part. Even companies that have multifacited ways of learning, like trying to push employees to to learn, if they're not intrinsically motivated to learn and challenge themselves.
Mama always said: life is like a box of chocolates, and online learning is sometimes like one of those boxes where you don’t know which piece is delicious nougat and which piece is some sort of nasty, coconut-y cream. Well, maybe not your mama. But, it’s a big world, so, surely, there’s a mother out there somewhere who would agree with the sentiment.
