How do you move your brain into that daydream mode? Is it the observation of what's in and around you? I'll just say that, although i absolutely love podcass and music, if i have a really thorny problem that i'm trying to work on when i'm commuting, i will intentionally not listen to anything. And at first, like my brain is whirrying and whizzing, and then it just, somehow, i'll see something out the window or notice some other car, and something happens, and i get more into that day dreamy space. Often then i get really interesting ideas related to my original problem or not. But i've found that
