The Conservatives' Big Tent Approach to Climate Change
I think in the 2021 campaign, we saw parties just sort of trying to one up one another with how much they were going to reduce their emissions by 2030. And I'm glad you raised that because that was actually a result of the Conservatives having a real plan. The Trudeau Liberals saw, okay, O'Toole, serious, they changed their targets twice over the next two months, but with no new plan to make it. So I've always said, let's be honest with Canadians. Let's not mislead them on either the left that there's an apocalypse in the next couple of years, or on the right that there's no problem at all.
