Some people were instructed to engage with others on their commute, while others were asked to just keep to themselves or follow their normal routine. People who engaged with strangers had predicted that they would feel the exact opposite outcome of their interaction. The fact that we increasingly interact with other people through our fingers, over text and email, typing to each other, rather than what we're doing right now, talking to each other,. concerns me.
